Leonidas returns to Switzerland this summer to make two appearances at the famous Verbier Festival. A firm favourite of the festival audience, Leonidas joins Evgeny Kissin to perform Beethoven Sonata for Violin and Piano No.9 on 29 July and then performs Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante with violist Antoine Tamestit and the Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra on 2 August. Both concerts will be streamed live on Medici – click here for more information.

Leonidas continues his busy summer of festival appearances the following week in the US, giving three performances at Tanglewood. On 6 August he renews his partnership with Emanuel Ax and Yo-Yo Ma to play a selection of Beethoven piano trios. He then joins the Boston Symphony as conductor and soloist in a programme of Beethoven and Dvorák on 9 August before reuniting with Emanuel Ax for a concert of Beethoven violin sonatas on 13 August.
