Leonidas celebrates Beethoven at Tanglewood

This August, Leonidas  will perform a feast of Beethoven violin works across three concerts at Tanglewood. On 6 August he will join frequent collaborators Emanuel Ax and Yo-Yo Ma to perform an all-Beethoven programme. Later in the season, the trio will take their Beethoven repertoire on tour to North America which will include three performances at Carnegie Hall.

Leonidas continues his Beethoven exploration at Tanglewood with a play/conduct performance of Beethoven’s Violin Concerto with the Boston Symphony Orchestra on 9 August, and on 13 August he will once again join Emanuel Ax for an all-Beethoven programme of Violin Sonatas.
