Leonidas returns to the Dallas Symphoy Orchestra for two weeks this month, appearing first as soloist and then as conductor.

In his first week of concerts with the orchestra, he performs Shostakovich Violin Concerto No.1, part of an all-Russian programme also featuring music by Mussorgsky. The concerts take place on 19, 20 and 21 October and are conducted by Giancarlo Guerrero, Music Director of the Nashville Symphony.

Then from 25 October, Leonidas takes to the podium himself to conduct the orchestra in Mozart’s ‘Paris’ Symphony and Dvořák Symphony No.7. He also performs as soloist in Mozart’s ‘Turkish’ Violin Concerto.
